Will you be sending out cards for the holiday this year?  I will to friends out of state. I'll write a little note in each one, but not one of those "letters".

Does anyone get one of those "letters" or send one out about what's gone on with their family during the last year?  So much is done on line anymore, I'm curious.

My circle of friends is very small and most live close-by so no I won't be sending out cards or letters.

I stopped sending snail mail cards but send a pretty gif via text to some people and make a general Merry Christmas post on my Facebook page.  We still receive some actual Christmas cards, but not many.

I haven't done cards for years...most of the people I would send them to, I see on a regular basis anyway. I can wish them a Merry Christmas (or whatever holiday they celebrate) and not spend money on cards, envelopes & stamps that just get tossed after the holidays anyway!

I'm not big into recycling, etc. but cards (in general) are, IMO, such a dreadful waste of paper. I do send out ONE birthday card every year, to my BFF who moved 3 hours away.

I still receive a few cards, and one or two of those obnoxious newsletters each year.

Sad/ironic story about one of those newsletters--this person would send out one every year, waxing poetic about their wonderful multiple vacations, and the perfect lives of her perfect children. Well, the perfect lives of those perfect children started to fall apart. No more newsletters, and eveyone knew why. I think you set yourself up for a fall when everything is always "perfect".
