Didn't know that smoke alarms needed to be changed out at 10 yrs. So grateful to the firemen that rushed into my house - my little dog was so scared.

We don’t need Carbon Monoxide dectectors in our home, we are 100% electric.

 

We have two campers and we do have them in there.

@kivah  That's only if they are 10 year smoke detectors.  I bought new ones recently that said they lasted for 10 years.  I don't need to change batteries.  Regular ones just need to have the batteries changed once a year.

We have one on all three floors, i also bring one when we travel.  Where I lived years ago, several children at a sleepover perished, very devastating.

Take time every day to enjoy where you are without a need to fix it
