@Desertdi

I have or had (not sure if we still have it) one of these for 14 years.  I will buy another one when I get a new car.  They're great!

Have your husband or a mechanic check the cabin air filter.  It's often located behind the glovebox.  It can make a big difference in dust/air particulates.

I have been keeping a very small lamb's wool duster under the car seat or tucked in the bottom of the door panel.  It's very handy and leaves no spray residue in the air to be inhaled.  It holds the dust until I shake it outside the car.

it gets into the tiniest areas and takes just a few seconds !

I keep a shorter swiffer duster and a container of alcohol wipes in the big pocket on the back of the passenger's seat. The swiffer takes care of dust and the alcohol cleans off dog drool. My dog doesn't drool a lot but I just don't like the spots it leaves on the dash.

@jlkz I use an e-cloth from Amazon for the interior windows in my car.  You just wet the waffle weave cloth, wring it out, and wipe.  Then you dry it with the smooth cloth.  No streaks, no lint...it's wonderful!  I also use it for mirrors and interior windows in my house and some of the exterior windows.  Amazon is having their spring prime days starting March 25, and I've seen this set go on sale during their prime days, so if interested, you might want to wait to see if it goes on sale.

I saw a small portable air purifier at Walgreens. That should remove dust.

Off topic but car related.

I read that putting kitty litter in a sock and leaving under the front seat will prevent  moisture fogging the window.

I meant to try it but never think of it when I'm not in my car.
