When cleaning the inside of your car, is there a product you have found that really helps repel the dust that accumulates on the dash, etc?

thanks

@Mom2Dogs  Amoral used to be the big one many people used to use.

I just use a microfiber cloth and some Mrs. Meyers or Trader Joes spray cleaners.

Some people use dryer sheets but to me that's a waste for the environment.

Open windows, A/C or heater, even clothing and skin cells are going to accumulate dust. Even where you park.

I don't know of any product that keeps dust away. Even using Pledge years ago on furniture didn't stop it.

I clean the EXTERIOR every day.     I wouldn't be caught dead in a "dusty car"...

@Mom2DogsMy dash does not get dusty because I close all windows when car is idle.

I live in the boonies.  Dusty dashboard is the least of my worries.

@Desertdi, I keep on of those dusters behind the passenger seat just for keeping dust off the dashboard and displays.

I keep a Swiffer duster under my seat, and when I'm stopped at stop lights, I dust everything I can reach in my car, which is pretty well everything from the front seats forward.  It's just me 99% of the time as we usually take my husband's truck if he and I go anywhere together, so it is easy to keep clean!  I dust everything behind the front row as needed.

Thanks...I should have known there was no special product, lol

When I park the car at work, shopping, etc, the windows are cracked so dust gets on the dash...even with the car in my garage in the summer the windows are down a little.  It gets to hot for the car to be closed up.

If the weather is good tomorrow I am cleaning the car inside and out and if there had been a new miracle product I would have run to the store to purchase....guess I will just do as I have in the past.

Re: Car cleaning

[ Edited ]

My car came with a dusting, anti static cloth for the screen, I keep it in my glovebox, I think each car had one.

Usually I will give it a quick spray of Armorall to prevent the buildup and keep a microfiber cloth in the car to touch up.

I clean my leather surfaces with Murphys Oil Soap and water.  Also keep a swiffer duster in the car.
