I think that’s exactly why he’s a millionaire, he always has his hand where there’s money. It’s all about business. I personally don’t buy any celebrity line, but plenty of people do.

How is it different from Kathy Hilton, who is also a gazillionaire selling stuff on Q.

Slatkin & Elton John can collaborate & sell all the candles they want,..no one should be limited by others who think they already have enough money. Best Wishes to both businessmen, every worker who get the candles to market, the retailers & the buyers who enjoy them.

@JJK1954  have you considered how many jobs were created to get these candles out in the public? For that reason alone this is worth it. I do not care how much money you have creating a business benefits many.

I read a portion of the proceeds from his candle sales go to the Elton John Aids Foundation.

Why do you think it's tacky? Do you think all actors, Etc that sell products on TV are tacky? Maybe he owes someone a favor.

The sale of his candles supports his charity, which is an AIDS Foundation.

Not tacky; classy.

@JJK1954

No different than Martha Stewart selling kitchen towels and oven mitts.
