I hate them. They're flying poop machines. Around here (pnw) you can't walk barefoot anywhere because you'll eventually step into a pile of fresh goose poop.

Hunting of Canadian geese is allowed in my State from Sept to Feb with a Water Fowl permit. Also nests-eggs can be destroyed & round ups can be done to relocate nuisance geese, those that can't be relocated can be processed & donated to soup kitchens...all these options MUST be approved & license fees paid to the Dept of Natural Resouces. Geese are a yr round problem here..pretty on water, on land...yikes.
