Can't Remember How it Went--Which Network Started as CVN?

Anyone remember CVN? Can't remember exactly how these networks got their start. Didn't QVC start as CVN? I think they kept Mary Beth Roe and a couple others. Some like Colleen Lopez were let go, and then I think HSN started. I'm not sure though. Anyone remember?
