Can someone help with an ebay question?

I listed some things on ebay today, first time in many years I've used ebay. It has been a few hours, and I have not gotten any kind of confirming email that my listings are up. They are up because I looked, but I thought I would get some communication from ebay. If something is wrong, I might not get other notices about the items I have available. Should I receive something from ebay?
