We are in the house with all the shutters closed. It only cooled to 80 last night. No one has air conditioning here in this town.

I'm sending prayers and crossing my fingers for everyone in SoCal! We saw a satellite photo last night that showed a long ridge of fog heading to California. I hope it gets there soon!

They just said on the news that 8 of the 9 fires in San Diego County are probably arson!! Just sickening!!

I talked to my friend yesterday who lives in San Marcos and offered her and her family to stay at my place if need be. The weather here got up to 105 with only 9% humidity....dangerously hot.

So glad you are OK Mick. I assume they got the fire out at Camp Pendleton and you weren't affected by the smoke from it.

This heat is really brutal. 102 here now.

Mom ~ Camp Pendleton is such a huge massive area. And I think the fire was on the side of the 5 freeway. Pendleton has fires often due to the drills. I don't worry about fire unless I can see it from my house! Thanks for thinkin' of me!

I've been sending up prayers for all those in the path of the California and Texas fires. I'm so sorry this is happening.
