Can customer service check the weight of the cake boss Christmas cake? It says in the description 13.5 oz.Net weight 13.5 oz; measures 10"Diam.

The host keeps saying 13.5 oz which is ridiculous . Is it 13 lb 5 oz or what? Thanks

If they are saying 13.5 oz, then that must be the weight.

I cannot imagine a 13 lb 5 oz cake, not at 10 inches.

I went to their website and they do not list the weight of their cakes, either.

If they are saying 13.5 ounces then I take that to mean 13 ounces plus another .5 ounces.

If it was pounds they would say 13.5 pounds....

If a ten inch cake weighs 13.5 pounds it just have rocks in it.

Just imagine how much of a stack we'd have if we bought over 13 pounds of sugar or flour at one time!

I would expect a 10" cake to weigh a pound or less. Sounds as if this one is 2.5 ounces less than a pound. I haven't been watching, but I think the host is right.

Maybe it's a mistake. The Smith Island 9" chocolate cake says net weight 5.4 lb. The Cake Boss cake is 10" with buttercream frosting. Wonder if it's 5 lb. 14 oz.

@Old Chick now, maybe I'm missing something here, but where exactly did you see or hear that is 13.5 pounds? Nothing in your post mentions pounds.

13 pounds. Must be lots and lots and lots of layers. It arrives in a 6 foot cake box.
