We live close to a Natural park that has deer....fox and coyote along with wild turkeys......

 

Not always a pretty picture .....

I grew up on a cattle ranch & we ate beef often. Just was used to it, with the cows outside in view. If they're tame, or pets, I think it would be creepy.

Turkeys don't have the capability to comprehend that you are eating one of their "relatives", even if they were to "watch you through the window".
