If that's true, I can't say I'm surprised. It just feels to me Brady and the rest of the team felt they had this in the bag and they were caught off guard by how hard and well the Eagles played.
@Cumbercookie13 I live in NE and I can assure you nothing could be further from the truth, for the past two weeks we have heard nothing here from Brady or any of rest of the Patriots but the upmost respect for the Eagles. I have never heard him or any of the others utter one nasty or condersending thing about any other team or there players, for the exception of one player who made a remark before a Jet's game about their coach, who I might add had been trash talking them for the prior two weeks, this player ended up sitting on the bench for not only that game but for the rest of the season and then was traded, and he was one of our best players at the time. So all of this total garbage talk about NE is just that. I guess another name for it is just plain old jealousy. Their isn't one of you, if Brady was traded to your team tomorrow that you would say "Oh no we don't want him" - LOL
But this is about Brady walking off the field and not shaking Nicks hand or congratulating him. It is poor sportsmanship. There are numerous videos and articles on it.
I don't think its garbage talk at all. Nick Foles gave an interview this morning and said he was looking for Brady but he left the field.
FYI Brady said he looked for him and did shake hands with other Eagle players but it was chaous of the field and when he spotted him he had all kinds of people around him and he was celebrating with his family, wife and baby, and Brady didn't want to intrude. It's not first time this has happened, other quarter backs have also not shaken hands on the field after a Super Ball Game. It's because of the commotion with all the fans on the field not because of "poor sportsmanship". Of course when it's Brady snarky remarks have to be made parr for the course, He wasn't trying to slite Nick ! Guess you just missed the pictures of him hugging and shaking hands with Eagle playes on the field and in the tunnel . Brady has never been nor is he now a poor sport

Jealousy? Far from it. There have been other reports of Brady being unsportsmanlike, and there's that whole "deflategate" incident that was very embarassing for the team. So the "trash talk" about The Pats, some of it really isn't. It's frustration over a team that has gotten too many passes from the NFL because of bias, and your post seems to me to be sour grapes. And I certainly wouldn't want Brady on my team. He may be a good player, but his attitude leaves little to be desired. Keep him far, far away!

@haddon9 You are so right. When it comes to sports fans you are going to get some that are drunk and belligerent and do nasty things to non fans and it certainly is not right. That Mac guy knows better and he is trying to blame all fans and the Eagles and I do not live in PA but I was very happy that the Eagles won.

I have nothing against Brady, he's an awesome player and will go down in history as that.
@Lucky Charmwhat a nice post, thank you ! There is nothing like rooting for a loosing team for years and then winning the Supper Bowl, us Pat's fans know that feeling all to well, ENJOY !!!

Building up to the Super Bowl this past week it was amazing to see all of the millions of people who supported the Eagles despite not being their fans. Reading fb and here on the forums, talking with family from coast to coast and seeing clips of interviews on TV had me convinced that the Philadelphia Eagles were the fan favorite.
I'm not really a fan of football but that was an exciting game last night, right down to the very last play. The Eagles were MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!

Hey, @haddon9:
I did not make any ssumption that ALL Eagles fans were jerks, (although 3 jerks did steal seats from the stadium after the Super Bowl). I expressed my OPINION as to why I wasn't elated to see the Eagles win. Jerks are jerks, no matter what city they are from. Eagles fans are just famous for their behavior.
