Your photos are fantastic, as usual, @just bee !   Love the red, white and blue smoke, hysterical.

Hubby, also from Chicago, has gotten inspired to order direct from Portillos, for either Memorial Day or July 4.  We had the hot dogs last time ( complete with all the traditional Chicago accompaniments),  now he's considering the Italian beef.

My daughter lives in Chicago. Portillo's is a must stop for us when we visit. We are getting a Portillo's in Kennesaw  Georgia. It's scheduled to open later is year.
