Hi there.  Can I initiate a discussion here on coffee?  I'm from Louisiana and we take our coffee very seriously.  We even have a state coffee. I drink only CDM, a dark roast with chicory.  I use one scoop coffe for one cup water and add cream--not milk--and one spoon of sugar.  I drink only one cup a day but never go without that cup unless it is Lent and then that is what I give up. What are some other thoughts on COFFEE?

It was posted in Customer Care, but I think we should carry on here.

Coffee, for me, is most just a caffeine or sugar delivery system. If I just want a warm drink, I prefer tea. I like my coffee a shade of beige with enough creamer, sugar, or flavor shots that I can't tell it's coffee. The smell of good coffee is so good, but the flavor can be a let down.

I love coffee, mainly deep, dark roasts. About half the time I drink decaffeinated or half-caffe. I don't really like sugar or cream in my coffee, except if I do iced coffee, I will put just a tad of cream in it but no sugar.  I also absolutely LOVE Turkish coffee- it is some of the best coffee if done right. Delicious.

Love the smell of brewing coffee but can't stand the taste.

@asoutherngirlWelcome to the Forums.

I, too, love my coffee.  Any day that does not start with a cup of strong, black coffee isn't a good day for me.

Most of my days begin with a cup (or two) of cappuccino.

I love coffee, both hot and iced.

I like 8 o'clock coffee, drink a few cups a day, and especially like it with some cinnamon sprinkled on the grounds when I make it. I like the smell of coffee brewing, the taste of it - with cream - and the pick me up it gives me. My DH had to give up coffee due to some stomach issues. He is drinking tea instead and complains about how much he misses his coffee.

I drink coffee all day. It wakes me up, gets me through my work day and relaxes me in the evening. Sounds like a lot of cofe but probably 3 to 5 cups a day.  I love Seattles Best but can't remember which one at the moment.  I drink my coffee dark with Mini Moos and Sweet nLow.  LOVE COFFEE!!!  I keep eyeing that Ninja coffee maker. I use a Cuisinart with the carafe right now.

I'm a coffee fiend, but not a coffee snob.

I really don't drink frou frou coffee drinks but once in a blue moon. I don't grind my own beans either. I have been known to drink day old heated in the microwave!

Large black light roast at Caribou Coffee when I am out, NEVER Starbucks. I call it Charbucks!

At home we start the day with a pot of good old MJB coffee. My fav store brand.

The downside? I can no longer drink high test after 4pm. Then I might do coffee ice cream!

Coffee -- I drink mine black, no sugar.

I live in the PNW, and coffee is serious here, too! lol

My current favorite is Gevalia Signature Blend or Green Mountain Nantucket Blend.

I must say, though, that some of the BEST coffee that I have ever had has been in the Midwest (Chicago) and of course diners on the East Coast (NY/NJ.)
