No. We don’t want to risk the health of those we love.

Oh my gosh.....Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Between my husband passing away, Covid, the fact that I have a really small to begin with (and now even smaller), and that 2 of my nephews live out of state, it would be more than fine with me to vault right from November 1st to January 2nd. Make the holidays go away.

I cannot think that far ahead.  Any number of things could happen between now and then.  I live in Florida so while as much as I love planning for Christmas and the whole Christmas in July thing, we still have peak hurricane season to go through first.

December is a long way off.

It's only July, still 5 months to go, a lot could happen between now and then.

We could wake up on Saturday and find out that the virus is gone...I know wishful thinking but just saying...

People Christmas is not in July. How will we know that far ahead of time. If things are like they are now no will not gather & put people at risk.

Those of us who gather are small so I'm guessing we will get together.

On my DH's side of the family there are only 6 of us and on my side of the family there are 7 including young children.  I would have no qualms about getting together with a group that size.

Its Christmas in July for dear MIL.  After 6 months in retirement community can eat out of apartment and sit with 1 other person.  So lovely but cautious.

insofar as rest of family,   not counting on anything.

Since it's still many months away, we haven't made any decisions yet. But I do have a feeling that things will be very different this year. I am not doing big crowds anymore, even if it is family.
