CAN PICK UP OUR KATY'S ASHES, AND

We lost our sweet Katy to total kidney shut down last Saturday. Katy was our larger yorkie, so sweet. This was so sudden. She would have just been 14 this month. We lost our little 3 lb yorkie just last year at this time, same thing. With Kayla, one we lost last year we were able to bring her home but took her back every other day to by hydrated and she was also on meds which I gave her. She was too small I guess and we only had her 3 weeks. She was only 10.

I know still have Kandi who we inherited when my friend passed away from lung cancer. Kandi was 13 in February. She has severe arthritis in her back plus her legs. She has just had 20 large warts removed, is the second time for this in 5 years. She is a bichon and if she was a dog that didn't need grooming I wouldn't have bothered but they are in the way and get nipped off and must be very painful for her so both the groomer and the vet said removing them is best.

We also have a 10 year old Min Pin who was diagnosed with a tiny stone in her kidneys so she is now on something to try and dissolve the stone and is also on a bland diet for 2 weeks.

I am now so glad we got our little yorkie puppy last year. He just turned a year old on Saturday, May 5 th. The vet kept telling us for the last 3 years to get a puppy since we have/had all senior dogs and this would happen.

Mickey is our first little boy dog, named him Mickey after our last big dog, Sweet Micki who we were very lucky to have till she was 16 1/2, old for a large 95 lb dog. She was a mix between a dobie/lab and shepard and we got here when she was a little over a year from someone that didn't want her, destructive, some can't take the puppy stages, have to have a lot of patience as most of you know, especially with labs. Anyway, named Mickey after her since she was the one that saved me and my car from that car jacker that I posted here about when it happened, summer before she passed away.

Mickey is as destructive as she was, more so but is pretty good now and is housetrained but never had a puppy that loves his toys as much as him. Micki was pretty close, loved toys but not as much when full grown as this little guy.

So, just wanted to say, very glad we have him now, sure helps with what we are going through since in the last 1 1/2 months I have had to have 2 root canals and now need oral surgery, bummer.

hope all your pets are doing great and very sorry to read so many are having some problems. Didn't mean to write a book here but vet just called today and am upset, haven't eaten yet today so got on the boards to talk.
