Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

@SandySparkles ... Post no. 2 of 1.   I went back and looked at your adorable figurines again and love them more today than I did yesterday.  Again I have been thinking on how we can continue our friendship, however, I have to wait to see if QVC will change their mind after reading all the requests from the posters not to shut down the forums.

Stacy told me something Lindsay said to her today which was, "If you had let Dad go when I was younger our lives would have been better."  My response to that was. "You divorced him when she was 8  months old for the right reasons and never let him go for the wrong reasons, and certainly didn't keep him out of love."   I  pleaded with her so many times to make an appointment with a psychologist to find out why she was allowing someone so destructive to stay in our lives.  Until she sees the error of her ways, she will continue to use poor judgement where life is concerned.  You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink also applies to humans.

You have no idea how much I enjoy reading your posts.  You have a wonderful way with words, of which I have not encountered in the past.  So be sure my friend, I will find a way to keep us together.  At this point nothing has been said why QVC plans to close the forums and they certainly didn't give us much notice to prepare ourselves for it.  Facebook is out of the question for me, and I noticed many posters said the same thing.   Again, I have an idea as how you and I can hold onto our friendship but I have to wait a little longer before I present it and the answer I will get.  Did I just confuse you? Woman Wink  In due time my friend, in due time.

Here it is again, the bewitching hour and time for me to say good night.  Take care and I look forward to hearing from you as always.  Heart

[ Edited ]

@Lindsays Grandma WOOHOOOO!  I am virtually spinning like an "olympic figure skater", and MUST initiate this post with a resounding YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY, to express just how elated I am to read that the forums will remain for us to enjoy!!!!!✨🎉✨ The forum genies have granted us a special wish indeed.😁  I only wish I had the opportunity to express my gratitude to whomever granted this welcome "reprieve." ❤❤

And now that the dust has settled...

I can empathize with the FRUSTRATION, and trepidation you are experiencing while seeking treatment for your painful condition!😞 It saddens me when I read about it, but I PRAY that you will SOON be receiving the quality care you are in desperate need of.🙏 It is however, comforting to know that in spite of your unnerving circumstance, you are maintaining a POSITIVE attitude!!👍 Hang in there dear friend.😊

I am experiencing a bit of personal turbulence presently; only of a different sort. When it rains, the downpour can be fierce.😐 To say my plate is full is an understatement! My emotional plate runneth over, and without going into too much detail, I head to California on Sunday morning to visit for a week; assuming my DSIL continues to fare well. I am soooooooooo looking forward to playing with my precocious granddaughter!!! I She likes to "cook" for Nana with her play kitchen, appliances and dishes; a master chef in the making.😁

Well dear friend, I am going to read your second post.😊

Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

@Lindsays Grandma Reading this post hugged my soul.😊 I have an overwhelming sense of joy in this moment, and I THANK YOU for that.🤗

Out of the mouth of babes...Though dear Lindsay is but 18 years old, Stacy would be wise to listen to her! She has proven by her previous actions; standing up to "It" in defense of you; and now by her words, that she is wise beyond her years. I am CERTAIN you are quite proud of her.😊

I like the suggestion of psychological treatment for Stacy. 👍 Unless drastic changes are made, she will continue to freefall until she literally hits rock bottom. Perhaps that is best because then she has nowhere else to go but UP; assuming she has the desire to. So, so many layers... I will continue to root for her, because as I have shared in the past, there was a time when I was her; a lost soul.😐 She will need a soft, loving place to land as she navigates her way to freedom from emotional bondage, and because of your loving spirit; in spite of everything; I strongly believe you will provide that pillow for her.❤😊

I did not have that, so my journey was quite turbulent but in the end, the ever stormy skies cleared and gave way to the most beautiful sense of PEACE, and confidence I have EVER known! It was truly a divine miracle! All the pieces of my life's mosaiac fell into place after that, and I give PRAISE, and credit where it is due.🙏🙏

I believe she is going to surprise you, and one day make you PROUD!!❤

Well dear friend, I feel ESPECIALLY happy today, and as always, am looking forward to your next update! 😊

Take EXTRA SPECIAL care today.❤🤗

Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

@SandySparkles ...On Monday, the 12th I spent way too much time at my computer.  Unless you have never put together a grocery list for home delivery, you haven't lived!!!  Today, the 13th, I have spent too  much time at the computer again.  And then there was the grocery delivery that arrived at my door which had to be brought in and then put away, oh joy!!!!

SO, this is just to let you know I am not ignoring you my dear friend...it is to let you know that I will be back at my computer tomorrow, the 14th, to complete my post to you.  In the meantime, stay well and happy, catch you later. Heart

Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

@Lindsays Grandma No worries dear friend! Take all the time you need.😊 I empathize with you regarding grocery delivery, and understand how time-consuming it can be-whew! A great deal of my grocery shopping is done online, but I prefer shopping at the market for fruits, veggies, and seafood. I have had some less than favorable delivery of those items.😐 Amazon Fresh, Instacart, and W+ are my favorite grocery delivery services.😄

My NUMBER ONE concern for you is that you are RESTING, and ELEVATING your legs as needed! I wish there was an emogi with one hand placed on hip, and the other wagging a finger because I would insert it here.😁

My life is hectic presently, and I am doubtful that it will change in the near future, so my forum visits are sporadic at best. As always, I look forward to your next update.😊

Take great care dear friend, and rest...rest... REST!❤🤗

Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

@SandySparkles ...Today is the 14th and I am back as promised.  I am enjoying a lovely hot cup of tea while

exercising my fingers on the keyboard.

Is it this coming Sunday you are leaving for California?  If so, you must be very excited and looking forward to seeing your granddaughter.

I have an appointment next week Wednesday with a Vein doctor, and am looking forward to whatever problem my body has, to being fixed.

Unfortunately, all of my suggestions to Stacy to see a psychologist falls on deaf ears.  It is sad that she ignores it because I know from experience how much it can help.  However, some people have to learn the hard way, and I believe she is one of them.

As for grocery home deliveries, I have used Fry's, Albertsons, and Safeway but mostly Walmart.  Everyone has done well, so at this point I have no favorite.  There is one person at Walmart who for some reason finds it necessary to tie the bags into a knot which is a royal pain.  It comes down to either cut each bag open or struggle to untie the knot. I prefer to untie the knots as I keep the bags to use in waste paper baskets in my bedroom and bath rooms.

So far we still haven't made a decision as to whether we are staying in AZ or moving to N Carolina.  Several days ago it was down to staying where we are, just not in the apartment complex we are in.  As of last night Stacy was back to living in N Carolina.  At this rate we will end up exactly where we are because time is getting very close to giving notification to the office.

As for Lindsay, yes, she is a very wise young lady, always has been.  I still remember her first grade teacher telling us how much she loved her.  Lindsay told her she was going to be an artist when she grew up but the teacher said no, with her knowledge of numbers she will be a scientist.  She could very well be an artist, you should see the drawings she does. This is a young lady who is very smart and very

talented, it will be very interesting to see which avenue she chooses.  Lindsay never went to public schools, she was always enrolled in Charter schools, whether or not it makes a difference, I don't know.

Well my dear friend, I think it is time for me to say good night to you.  And by the way, please give your DSIL a hug for me and tell her I think about her very often and I wish for her to get well.  And for you, I wish you happiness as well as good health.  Until the next time dear friend...Heart

Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

[ Edited ]

@Lindsays Grandma I chuckled as I read the words, "exercising my fingers on the keyboard".😀 My keyboard suffers from strenuous workouts at times also.😂

You are correct! I arrived in Cali yesterday morning, and was greeted by my beautiful granddaughter at baggage claim.😊 It is AMAZING just how much she has grown in almost a year! She is quite articulate for her age, and rather LOQUACIOUS. Naptime today was a welcome respite for ME.😄

We went shopping yesterday afternoon for all things girly; sparkly pinks and purples😁; but today is a LOWWW energy level day for me, so I am taking it easy. I was however, able to do some light housekeeping; a Nana's/mother's work is never done.

I am going to cross my fingers AND eyes🤪 that Stacy makes a concrete decision soon regarding moving plans, because time truly is of the essence.🤞🤞

I had to edit this post because when I reread it a few moments ago, I realized I was distracted when I initially read your post, and misinterpreted the reference regarding the upcoming appointment. My response would have puzzled you.😀

I am now hopeful that when you see the specialist this Wednesday, he or she will be able to start you on an effective treatment plan. It breaks my heart to know you are still suffering.😞

I will relay your well wishes AND hug to my DSIL when I return home. She is experiencing much stress and medical challenges, so I am certain it will bring a smile to her face.😊

Well dear friend, as always I eagerly await your next update, and will check often for news regarding your quest for a specialist!

Until then, please know you remain in my prayers.🙏 Take GREAT care!❤🤗

Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

@Lindsays Grandma I have checked often for a recent update, and because I have yet to see one, my concern for your well-being grows.😐

You have mentioned previously how serious your condition can be if untreated, so I am hoping your Wednesday appointment resulted in a treatment plan that you are now following.🤞 I know how painful it has been for you to sit for extended periods of time at your computer.😞

Well dear friend, please know that you remain in my prayers, and that it is my most sincere hope for you to be resting comfortably this evening.🙏

It is around 11:15 p.m. Pacific Time and I have spent an unusual amount of time on the boards today, so I am off to slumberville. I will continue to check for your next update with hopes of encouraging news!! Until such time, take GREAT care my dear forum friend.🤗❤
