*lol* No, I'm not leaving for good.

 

 

Later today I will loose power, and could be in the dark for up to four days, so in case there was any wondering for my sudden "silence", that's why.

 

 

I promise to return as soon as my electricity has been restored.

The power thing-need a generator.That is where we should have bought stock. Living in MI we do lose power a lot and own a Generac.

A generator is great.  We have one.  But when you have used the amount of gas stored, where does one get more gas if there is no power where you live?  You need power to pump gas.  We lived through a longer term power outage years ago during a massive hurricane and had to eventually leave our home.

The whole house generators on our street are fed by natural gas. Only the portable ones use gasoline.
