Bye-Bye Luna-25

Russia's spaceship Luna-25 reached the moon, went into an uncontrollable orbit, crashed into the surface and "ceased to exist" yesterday.

 

Sigh.

 

India's Chandrayaan-3 is not far behind. Good luck, Chandrayaan.

It’s not the crash that blew my mind. It’s the fact that Russian scientists predicted the craft to have a “50-50 chance of a successful mission” and still went ahead with it.   Not very smart

Chandrayaan-3 landed successfully on the moon at 6:05 pm India time today.
