Buttons vs. Velcro

My husband loves cargo pants but hates the velcro so many of them have. I agree; velcro is noisy (that's why the US Army has gone back to buttons--snipers can hear velcro from a mile away) and tends to start curling and getting misshapen after a while.

But some people love Velcro.

What you do think?

ps--I usually buy his cargo pants from Lands End but I couldn't find what I wanted there so I went to LLBean and ended up buying 3 pairs that I know he'll love.
