I think it’s pretty sneaky and bad when an item ships for $3.00 and when that item is sent back and sold as an “as is item” qvc then charges $5.50 shipping. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

What's sneaky about it?  You know what you're being charged when you use the return label.   You can also pay for return postage yourself at the post office.

Most undamaged returned merchandise is returned to inventory and sold as regular merchandise, not "as is".

I’m not talking about return shipping. I talking about the price for shipping when you purchase a product. Example:  item price plus $3.00 shipping.  Same product “as is” item price plus $5.50 shipping. Why?  Because they can!

Don't like the terms being offered, don't buy the product.  Because you can...

@buddylou- It might be useful if you posted the number of the item you're talking about, so we could see the information for ourselves.

It could've been a special S&H rate, when the item was first offered or there could be another reason.  Without any more to go on, it's impossible to tell.

Thank you so much CrazyDaisy, I could have never figured that out.  Too bad everyone is not as intelligent as you seem to think you are.

What was the price of the "as is" blanket/throw?

It says the shipping and handling on the regular priced item is REDUCED. The normal S&H would be $5.50.

@Sushismom- That's exactly what I thought must be the case.  I just looked, but the "As Is" throw is now sold out, so someone must've decided it was worth the extra $2.50 in S&H.  I just look at the total to decide if I want something or not.

Right now there's a QF jacket that's reduced to $25.49 in the new section (although sold out) and $34.00 in the "As Is".  Figure that one out!  Woman Very Happy
