Our son's best friend's father died indigent-he never had that much in life, but left behind nothing in death to pay for burial etc. "Jim"-our son's friend is very special to us and we want to help....
What are his possible options? He's not opposed to cremation, but burial would be preffered....I've never dealt with this before. This poor young man would like closure and from what I'm hearing, cremation seems to be the most affordable way to go....what advice can we give him? He can barely support himself and pay his share of the rent let alone bury his father. His family is "negligible" in their comings and goings-this man's final destination is not a priority.
We would not mind contributing-as far as we know, there are no funds being set up of any kind....any ideas would be most welcomed.
Thanks,
Poodlepet
