Just saw a segment on a little boy, nine years old but he was small for his age I would say, got suspended for two days for fighting back with the bully who had been picking on him - even banging his head against the concrete on the basketball court
When he was first bullied, his parents told him to turn the other cheek and ignore. When it escalated and the school did nothing, they told him to defend himself if he had to.
The bully was also suspended for two days, same as the kid being bullied. They said that is their no zero tolerence policy.
Do you think it is fair that the kid starting it all got no more punishment than the kid who protected himself?
In this instance and all?
thanks.
