Not only is it cheap, people have DIED from shoveling snow here. We are now at 12 deaths due to this storm, many from overexertion.
I broke TWO shovels due to the weight of the snow. It's dangerous.
I have read it's very dangerous to shovel snow. I try to keep that in mind every year when clearing my deck. I work in 10 minute intervals. Stay safe! I might add that not very often do we get a heavy wet snow. It's usually feather light so I clear it before it begins to melt & get heavy.
I missed my two sessions with my trainer this week - he was snowed in at his friend's house and there was a driving ban.
I told him I'd exercise by shoveling!
