eta~ a bit ago I saw 2 deer prance from right to left above the nest, its quite the winter wonderland! Oh and if you scroll back a little you can see mom buried in the snow, actually you cant see her!

@SeaGal    It's -2 degrees in my area (Chicago suburb) and it will be cold all week.  Strange weather mild Dec. and Jan. and now we are freezing and getting lots of snow.

Im a west coast gal, went to Chicago to see my son grad Navy Boot Camp and brrrrr, I have never been so cold in my life, it was January!! I said i would never complain about being cold at home ever again! Bundle up, stay warm.  

Chicago was beatiful, the snowy frozen ground everwhere sparkled like diamonds as the sun shown on it!
