Has anyone read this book? Good? Not so good?

She's been doing the talk show junket and I'm on the fence about spending money on it.

My library has 93 holds - HA! No thanks.

I've thought about ordering it, too. There are lots of positive reviews at Amazon's website. 56 out of 87 gave it 4 or 5 stars. 7 gave it one star. You may want to go read some of those reviews. At 416 pages, there must be lots of details. The Kindle version is $10.99 (about $5 less than hardcover), so that's the version I'll get if I decide to purchase.

"Tell All"? What's to tell about Brooke Shields? I mean, who really cares?

Seems like the negative Amazon reviews mention that she spends more time focusing on her mom than herself. Since it's subtitled "The Real Story of My Mother and Me," I guess one should expect it to spend quite a bit of time focusing on her mom and her relationship with her mom, though. One review thought it needed better photos, and another thought it needed to be more authentic--like she's holding back compared to how she openly/deeply discussed post partum depression.

No, she passed in 2012.

ETA: I've read that Brooke was at her side when she died.
