You are so right my friend! It's tragic that some people will keep their animals outside in freezing and sub-zero temps. So cruel, and nothing upsets me more than seeing such suffering. Nothing.
Stay warm & safe.
Luv U,

Uh, common sense? But a lot of people must hide behind the door when that was passed out.

Who leaves their pets outside all the time? That alone seems cruel to me, regardless of the weather, hot or cold. My sweet dog loved the cold, although he hated to be out in the rain or snow, but he was quite happy to be out all night in freezing temps or sitting on a snow bank. He was that type of dog, but when he wanted in, I let him in, and he would be equally happy snuggled up in our living room. He knew he could be in or out when he wanted... I don't understand people that leave their pets outside in bad weather. If it is too cold and the dog is not equipped to handle it, bring them inside. If it is too hot and they have no shade, bring them inside, they need water and comfort. I just try to think, if I wouldn't want to be out in it, my dog wouldn't either, although he enjoyed being out in the snow more than I did. Just bring them inside.

sadly, some do leave their pets outside 24/7. it's very cruel and shouldn't be allowed.

I do feel badly for the animals. Some people don't have proper housing for larger animals like ""pet"" horses.

Scottie, if someone has a horse and doesn't have a stable, or barn or accommodations for it, they have no business owning a horse. JMO
Also like some people have no business owning large dogs. Just because a dog is large in size, does not mean it is meant to be kept outdoors. My dog happened to be about 70lbs when he was in good health, and he liked the cold, but he also let me know when he had enough. He didn't want to be out in it all the time, and he knew he could come inside any time he wanted to warm up or just hang out with us. When he wanted out, I let him out... but never left him neglected or stuck in the cold, or heat.

I agree Jules. I reported some people once who had nothing more than a lean-to for their horse. Nothing happened. The authorities wanted my name and I was not about to give it. The people who had the horse were not ones I wanted to know about me! I asked couldn't they just go take a look without my name. Nope. At least nothing came of it until the people were busted for having a major drug business.

My little shih ztu is always in the house...well, except when she has to you know. I'd be the one outside before she ever would in this cold. Cause I love her so.
