Re: Brian Laundrie Autopsy Results

This is NOT my opinion, but "experts" say there is no such thing as "closure".

Why would it make anyone feel better (or worse) to know how or why a beautifu, wanted, cherished child died?

Brian Laundrie may have killed himself with a handgun he took from his parent's home, but information about the missing gun was kept secret ... until now.

The Laundrie family attorney, Steven Bertolino, tells TMZ, Chris and Roberta Laundrie voluntarily surrendered all of the guns in their home to police back on Sept. 17.

At the time they were aware a handgun was missing.

Bertolino says law enforcement felt it was best not to reveal the gun was MIA. He also says Brian's parents "were shocked the gun was missing and they were upset."

Authorities have not said if the missing handgun was found at the scene.

I think it would've been important to let the public know that he was (a murder suspect and) armed.

@Lucky Charm  Perhaps but no harm, no foul. It's certainly a moot point now!

Re: Brian Laundrie Autopsy Results

'In a way', (if true) it would have been nice to let the public know that he was armed (and possibly dangerous), and to keep away from him if and when he was spotted by someone.  Many people were out there, looking.

But keep in mind, I don't know if they completely closed that swamp or whatever it's called area while they were searching.

Just thinking about this right now.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Re: Brian Laundrie Autopsy Results

This case became famous mostly because Gabby was followed by thousands on social media. It was even reported on the Italian ( I was there at that time) and Australian news.

When they got engaged, Brian said ' til death do us part" . If her relatives heard what I heard on their engagement video, they could have checked on her during the trip more often. I wonder if she told friends and family about the police questioning them about the abuse.

Brian hit her in front of witnesses, that thankfully called the cops. That shows he was extremely  angry at her already.

I am sure he killed her ,probably because she wanted to leave him.

I hope his parents didn't know anything about Gaby missing. They were probably told she went somewhere else. Otherwise they waited ,hoping her body was so decomposed that nobody could find out she was killed .

Re: Brian Laundrie Autopsy Results

Seems presumptuous and unprofessional. Unless they have both the gun and the bullet that killed him and they match, there is no way they can rule it a suicide. Even then, people have been disarmed and killed with their own gun. Anyone with sense wouldn't go into that area unarmed, so that he took a gun does not mean that he meant to kill himself.

Something is just not right with this whole thing.  I can't put my finger on it but something is off.

If I lost a child to homicide, I would surely want to know WHO did it and WHY. They know the how. She was murdered by strangulation. If there is no way to prove that Brian did it, they will wonder, for the rest of their lives if the killer was still out there and likely to do it again. Or if he got away with it and will never have to be brought to justice. Of course that is just my opinion and I surely respect yours.
