Re: Breaking: judge denies bail for Sean Combs

He was being held in custody prior to the trial so it makes sense he should be while awaiting sentencing.

Re: Breaking: judge denies bail for Sean Combs

According to Harvey Levin, the two charges Diddy was found guilty of carry a maximum sentence of 10 years.  They cannot be 2 sentences of 10 years (=20 years), so if the max is 10 years, he indicates Diddy will NOT be sentenced to the max.

More likely it will be 5 years, and with time served and good behavior it could be whittled down to 15 months - 2 years.  Of course this is all speculation.

I think he's learned his lesson and realizes he can't continue this crazy behavior for the rest of his life.  jmo

I hope he gets some REAL jail time. There is too much smoke but the jury ignored the one fire.

I watched the lawyers statement after the verdict. She said it is an honor to know him ( combs). Did she watch the video of him kicking Cassie when she was thrown on the floor? I guess money can buy you anything.

So be it. He got his gift via the verdict, after all.

One of the legal experts said, since he has no criminal record, he'll get jail time but on the lower end. 3, maybe 5 years. With time served, he'll be out in 2-4 years. That just seems so wrong.

Bravo to the judge. Our criminal judicial system has seemed so lenient lately, I am glad to see the Diddy Scumbag get stuck in jail!

@jellyBEAN

???  I see no reason to assume Diddy has "learned his lesson".

People who testified fear for their lives.  The jury members were anonymous, but I bet Diddy's crew has all their names and where they live.

I also wonder if the judge will be alive a year from now.
