I guess I am a wimp. I keep seeing people running around in shirt sleeves ,out side. It is 14 right now ,and while we were bundled up ,on our walk around the hospital, some guy sauntered past us, in cords and a sweat shirt, and shoes. THere is 7 inches of snow, at least ,on the ground.
I would be so afraid to run around like that. Sat night at mass some lady was wearing flip flops and no coat. I know I am old, bu,t I didn't so this stuff when I was young

We were getting gas last night, and some guy had shorts on. I don't know if he was coming or going to work out - it's below zero out. I guess some people tolerate the cold better than others.
I will wear flip flops to get a pedicure. LOL

I wonder if they keep things like boots ,and coats ,in their car? I would be so afraid of breaking down, getting in an accident, running out of gas. I would rather be safe ,than risk frostbite

Many years ago I was flying out of JFK on a freezing cold day. Yes -- I was flying to CA -- but everybody on the plane was still dressed for NY weather. At the very last minute who should come waltzing onto the plane but Bill Murray. Wearing shorts -- tee shirt -- flip flops -- and a huge smile on his face. My first thought was that the only thing missing was the big sign saying "Hey everybody -- look at me!!!!"

Here in northeastern Indiana we are expecting temperatures of 20 below zero, 20 mph winds, and a -45 windchill tonight.
They are telling us to keep our thermostats a few degrees warmer.....(which we are doing) and not to open our garage doors if we don't have to. Thank goodness we have a generator if anything goes wrong.
