Can anyone suggest where i can find a butter dish with a handle that is NOT made in China? Would like to find one made in USA, but everything on Amazon is made in China or is lead crystal, which I also want to avoid.

Have you checked Fiestaware?  I'm pretty sure they have one and their goods are made in the US.

Check Vermont country store website. They have several with handles including Fenton...all made in USA

I've had the turquoise extra large butter dish for many years from Fiestaware.  Not sure if I got it at MACYs sale or DIL gifted me.

I have been slowly growing my pieces.  Many of them I buy at Macy's because they usually have good sale. They are made in USA and great quality.  My DIL got me "hooked"

I have two:

Vintage Corningware.  

White with Cornflower Blue  motif.

Made in USA.

I got mine for $3 each on EBay.
