Anybody watch this on national geographic channel?
Caught just a bit last night. The test was to count the number of flashes made by the circle. The first time through it was easy. The flashes were accompanied by a ding sound. The second time was harder because the dings and the flashes were no longer synced. I found myself wanting to count the dings despite knowing I was to count the flashes.
They said that when confronted with something like this, the brain favors the hearing sense over the sense of sight. Interesting. I'd assumed it would be just the opposite.

Sounds seizure inducing...

Sounds (no pun intended) like a neat show. Unfortunately, I don't get the Nat Geo channel on my line up.

Funny you should say that - next week's show is about the brain and stress.

It sounds interesting. We don't have the channel either. It would be a nice break from the mind numbing shows. (no pun intended)
