I can't believe the posting comment is closed? Nothing was said wrong and only three people responded.......anyway I called Chanel and they show no history connected with this company. The person I talked to does not mean she really knew from way back.
I did some research. In 1863 stage actresses were bemoaning their makeup........Monsieur Alexandre Napoleon Bourjois created the first powder blush. The rest is history. I could see that being on the line of Chanel. I understand that Chanel is not made here in America but France.
