Re: Bought this at Sam's Club

@Lovingq  Thanks for the info on the rice packets.   I like to keep easy sides on hand for when we go "camping" in our RV.   I am going to get some on my next shopping trip.

The phones look nice too, but I now answer my home land line on my iPad. ( xfinity) It's really convienent and I can text and take it anywhere there is wifi and answer the phone or make a call and no one knows I am not home.  I only use my cell phone where there is no wifi.

Re: Bought this at Sam's Club

Uncle Ben's makes a product similar to Seeds of Change.  It's called Ready Rice, comes in an 8.8 oz. pouch, costs $1.79, and is ready to eat in 90 seconds.  Tastes good but probably isn't organic.

Re: Bought this at Sam's Club

I'm trying to get away from eating so much processed food, but I love quick things like this as my husband and son are always 'starving' and don't want to wait to eat some nights!

Thanks for the information about them.

Re: Bought this at Sam's Club

You might not find them at all Sam's....prices ending in 1 penny are clearanced so once they are gone they are gone.

Re: Bought this at Sam's Club

I was just going to say that about the price. Anything in Sam's that ends in 91 cents is the beginning of the end. It is going out, not to return.

The trick is, depending on how often you go to Sam's, is .91 means they still have enough but it is going.

Then it will drop to $$$ and 81 cents. The "81 cents" and a "c" up in the right hand corner of the price sign means "this is it. All we got, no more pallets in the back", so that is when you grab it.

I go a lot because it is just down the street. I got a lot of stuff recently that was down to $4.81 or $5.81. Steals.

Re: Bought this at Sam's Club

Thank you @Mistreatedbycs and @gabstoomuch

I have my receipt and the Chia & Kale version was $7.91 and the Quinoa and Brown Rice w/garlic was $10.78.  I do prefer the first and so I think I'll go back and get more.

@Lovingq:

Thanks for the recc and pics.

Quinoa is high protein and brown rice high fiber - both super healthy.

Here's their website for more product combos and info:

The line is also available at Target and Walmart, for those of us who don't have, don't need, and/or can't afford a warehouse membership.
