@Lovingq  Thanks for the info on the rice packets.   I like to keep easy sides on hand for when we go "camping" in our RV.   I am going to get some on my next shopping trip.

The phones look nice too, but I now answer my home land line on my iPad. ( xfinity) It's really convienent and I can text and take it anywhere there is wifi and answer the phone or make a call and no one knows I am not home.  I only use my cell phone where there is no wifi.

How cool is that ? !!!  I guess you still have your landline service to pay for ... Smiley Sad  I have been using my cell phone only for the last 6 years.

I have used the Google phone option when I could not find the cell phone.  People freak out when they see a California number on their caller ID and pick up wondering 'who is this ???'.

Re: Bought this at Sam's Club

Went to look at Sam's this morning....nothing.

Picked up some really nice clearance items (Clothing)  marked down to $6.81 although the signs were not changed yet so don't rely on those signs, they may have a lower price.  Just have to be at the right time and right place.

@Just Bling  sorry your store didn't have the rice.  I went back to Sam's today and the rice (Brown & Red with Chia and kale) was marked down again to $5.91.  I bought a lot. Thanks for the heads up about the signs not necessarily being current.  I too like to look at the clothing.

Right, that is for the Quinoa and Brown Rice.

For the Brown & Red Rice with Chia and Kale it's

sodium 300 mg, potassium 190mg, total carbs 51g,

dietary fiber 4g, sugars 0g, protein 5g

Not recommending to eat this stuff everyday but I think once or

twice a week is fine.   Also it tastes really good.

I'm not a cook so I buy this type of food.  Had to look up cous cous, heard of it before of course but never had it.

Well, yes, grains *are* carbs Smiley Wink But brown rice and quinoa are whole grains.  Cous cous is a grain (carbs) too, but unless you're getting the whole wheat kind, you're missing the extra fiber and nutrients. Fair point on the sodium though!
