Books for Christmas?

Just curious to see if anyone had received books as gifts on Christmas?

My DH bought me And the Mountains Echoed, The Goldfinch, Life After Life, and I Am Malala. Other than the first, which I've been dying to read, and the last, which I'd seen in the bookstore, have not heard of the others. DH really isn't too familiar with my reading preferences so he based his decision on Amazon Editor Picks. Anyone have any opinions about any of the titles?

Love books as gifts BTW!
