He had extensive dental work done yesterday and his vet gave him a pain shot that will be in effect for 3 days. My God, that cat is really stoned, lol. His eyes are still dilated; he's not staggering around like he was last night but his little purr machine is going full blast and he wants only to eat and cuddle.

Well, I can supply him with both, as much as he wants, and I'm happy to. I'm also glad that his vet made sure he's not in unnecessary pain.

Are you sure Boo Boo wasn't visiting Colorado?

I thought you meant Honey BooBoo. That would be worth watching.

OMG!! I thought you meant Honey Boo Boo.

It's your kitty cat. I had a cat that was prescribed Phenobarbital for seizures. I wonder if he was stoned the whole time.

Poor kitty kitty. The last time my cat was loopy from the anesthesia was when I had her spayed. Poor baby.

Was this your cat's first dental surgery? Hopefully it wasn't a traumatic experience. Boo Boo will probably start feeling better by the end of the day.

I cracked up when I read your reply, Linders, LOL! {#emotions_dlg.lol}

BooBoo's had so many health issues lately that he deserves to have a bit of kitty medical marijuana. Wink Just hope that he doesn't get the munchies when he starts to feel more like himself, LOL.

I thought it was Honey Boo Boo too! I had my elderly dog undergo dental work and I felt so bad for him. He was really out of it for about two days. But after that he was like a new dog. He must have been in pain before because he really was kind of a nasty little dog (never to me) but afterwards he was like a little puppy again. I really should have done it before - he was probably about 11 then and I was afraid it would be too much for him. But it all worked out in the end. Hope Boo Boo gets a new lease on life.

My cats all staggered for many hours after their anesthesia for dental work. Poor kitties.
