Re: Bluebird picking a home in our backyard

You are so lucky.  They must feel safe.   We have one permanent nest under eaves on second story.  Some black capped finches comes three times a year, last year we had four " litters" up there.  They use the nest over and over.  Each time they refeather it, clean house and start over, lol.   Caruso, as we call the male bird, sits watch on the drain pipe and sings his guts out.  ALL DAY SOMETIMES, lol.  But there is a full finch seed sock out back, water, a bath , a pond, a feeder with both shelled and unshelled peanuts there.  They are in heaven!  The only time we see them is when mama and dad take a break alternately.   and when the fledglings learn to fly.   They are fun.  But a Bluebird....that's happiness as they say!
