I have used Disturbed's version of Sound of Silence as my ringtone off and on for a few years. His voice is outstanding.

I heard it several years ago and I think once you hear it you never forget it. It is chilling but totally meaningful to the words.

I also love the original Simon and Garfunkel version but Disturbed's is a great interpretation too.

This song was played at my brother's funeral in 1969. I truly never thought anyone could ever sing this song that would rival the Simon and Garfunkel version....until I heard this by Disturbed. The passion and emotion brings me to tears.

This verson is a wonderful recording! I became aware of it severay years ago.

It seems like the artist has classical training.

I'd never heard this version before now. A much different vibe than Simon and Garfunkle's original. This one is very dark and powerful.

It's very well done - the vocalist has a marvelous voice. His piercings, on the other hand...made me wince!

That was done by Simon and Garfunkle in the 60's. A very mellow soft song.

I've heard the Disturbed version several times. Yes, its quite different. In my opinion, no one can sing it like Simon and Garfunkle. It's always been a favorite of mine so I think that's why I have trouble enjoying anyone else's version.
