The 1st Sunday, in May, is our annual Bloomsday 12k Run, in my hometown, of Spokane.  Runners generally number around 50,000.

Runners come come from all, over the world.  It’s the worlds largest, fully timed (every participant, no matter, how slow, gets their time) race. The participants range from world class elite, to general runners, walkers, and stroller/wheelchair pushers. There is also a group,of world class wheel chair racers.  The organization, of the event , is amazing!

Only finishers get the coveted tee shirt, which is a secret design, revealed, when you cross the line to get yours 🤪 Thousands of volunteers help make it all, happen.

Bloomsday week end is very special, and profitable for the city!

I've done it and had a wonderful time!  Throughout the race there are tons of people cheering you on, especially towards the end (and that killer hill!).

So much fun!

My knees and hip, after an injury, won’t let me run, right now, but, I did it for years!

I was  never fast, but, it was great fun!  Weather is often iffy, but, this year, it was gorgeous🙃🙂
