@CatsyCline   it's a small airport.  It depends on the conditions.   I hope she gets lucky.   I live in Ventura County just south of Montecito .   I don't live in a flood area, but we got a lot of rain and wind here.  I just went outside and my neighbor huge potted plants and an umbrella on a huge heavy base are on the ground.   She is pretty exposed where as everything on my patio is still standing.

I live in CA. Right now there are no big fires. It’s winter and it’s raining and snowing. A lot. It’s not fire season and hasn’t been for awhile. You must be thinking of very old news. 😉 Give it some time - this summer.

I saw it’s snowing in Palm Springs.
It’s been raining here since yesterday afternoon. At least the wind is calm but expect it to gust again at the end of the storm. More rain maybe next week.

I think California took our New York City snow!  We have a record lack of snow...

@Teddixat   Oh yes i looked!  wow the terminal is cute. i just watched a video From The Flight Deck - SB airport.  

It's a stunningly gorgeous area!   i can see why my niece (a florida gal)   has fallen in love with the area!  the video was filmed from a plane over the area showing the coast and mountains views and airport layout.

i see there are flash flood warnings through tomorrow and some flight delays currently.  Praying!
