The link from MJ says a few people got through on the phone and QVC says it's a glitch. At least they're aware of it now.

a ""glitch"" is better than spam. Thinking they should GIVE US ALL that $16 and change for the annoyance!! Yeah!

I just got the same e-mail and was just about to call. I am happy I came here first before doing anything with QVC.

I know, nunya. I removed my info 'way back when we were seeing other customers' account numbers in the login screen. This website is scary.

As I said on the other thread (Q Did What), what I don't like about the refund email is that it was addressed to "Dear QVC Shopper" and not "Dear Clover" which is what their normal sales emails say. When an email uses a generic greeting and not my real name, it's a big red flag for scams. If Paypal didn't use my real name, it would definitely be a scam.
QVC should not be sending out account-related emails, even in error, that don't have real name greetings. It's a lousy business practice. Someone should have a word with the new hire who sent those emails out, for multiple reasons.
