Bitty Basketball Blues

Theoretically Speaking...Let's say your 8-yr old specifically said that she was not interested in playing a sport that she has played for two years already in a "fun league" format. Would you be a bit upset that your hubby signed her up anyway for a third year in a row? How would you handle the crying 8-yr-old and the demanding hubby who says, "You're going to play. It will be fun!!!!!!" Trying to be supportive to both sides....but I have fairly strong opinion. What's your opinion?
