Birthday money

Yesterday was my DH's birthday and he got a chunk of birthday money. Today I had a dentist appt. so hubby dropped me off and went shopping. Our dentist is also an old friend so he asked where DH was and i answered "He got some birthday money yesterday so he went shopping". The dentist said "Oh wow, i love getting birthday money." and the assistant agreed she also liked getting money for her birthday and how nice to go shopping to get yourself something totally guilt free. We all agreed we loved getting money for our birthday the best. Would you rather get $$$$ or a gift for your birthday?
