Bird Nest for October -

My goodness, here we are into our second day of October and the temps will once again go over the 100 degree mark. While I do NOT like cold weather, this heat has been fierce this summer and continues on. Biggest problem with our heat this year has been the accompanying humidity. Not nice.

Filled the seed feeders on Sunday and they are almost empty. We haven't had the birds this summer we usually have either - very very strange. Hummers have also been scarce - I miss my fine feathered friends. Don't misunderstand me, still have lots of birds but not in the numbers we are use to. I think the excessive heat must have something to do with that also.

Have been busy with errands and today seems to be another day of them - does it ever stop?
