Just heard on the news that he preached to more millions on earth than anyone else has, and that his ministry spanned the late Thirties up to the twenty-first century.  That is so remarkable a scope to contemplate.

"Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead.

Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I

am now. I will just have changed my address.

I will have gone into the presence of God."

    I have read that, also..

" IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD".

I HAD HOPED THAT MANY HAD READ A POST OF MINE EARLIER WHAT MY FATHER TOLD ME YEARS AGO, AS A TEEN AND CONTINUOUSLY AS A YOUNG ADULT.

I GREW UP KNOWING OF REVEREND BILLY GRAHAM, AND LOVED HIM SO MUCH.

I HAVE A SMALL PIECE OF ONE PAGE, FROM A BOOK THAT I SAVED FROM YEARS AGO.

           I NEVER FORGOT IT.

IF I MAY I WOULD LIKE TO POST THAT LATER.

MY POSTING IS ON THIS THREAD. I DEDICATE MY EARTHLY FATHER'S WORDS TO REVEREND GRAHAM'S PASSING, AS I MENTIONED, MY DAD WOULD WANT ME TO. THOSE ARE HIS WORDS.

When his wife died in 2007 of June, we traveled to

``The Billy Graham Library.`` North Carolina.

I still have my entry ticket where and when we came in, along with photos; myself sitting at Ruth Graham's Grave site.

We were there in August of the same year...just about exactly [[6]] weeks after she died. She never lived to see the opening of such a beautiful event. Something I could never explain in words.

                An EFFECT of wonderment!

I KNOW MORE OF REVEREND Billy Graham's life than I do of any other person, outside of my family.

 Thank you for reading.

I have to print in a larger font due to the dysfunctional format, here,at this time.

He has rejoined George Beverly Shea and Cliff Barrows. I’m sure my dad is singing in the heavenly choir once again. Yes I have followed him since I was a little girl because of my parents. I saw him at the Astrodome in early 60s with my family. Of course my dad sang in the choir with the church. Oh how I wish I knew what that experience would mean to me one day.

Yes, indeed, @OKPrincess, I believe I know something of what you feel.  Like so many millions, my Dad's faith was re-kindled by listening to and heeding Billy Graham's timeless message.  So I'm deeply glad that he lived, one of the most influential men in history, and put his long life to the great purpose that he did.

Yes I wanted to tell my parents he died but then they knew before I did. Anyway I’m thankful for my loving Christian parents as you and it’s up to us to continue his message and our parents teachings until we go home. I’m sad but then I’m happy.

George Beverly Shea, oh how that man could sing... How Great Thou Art.  One of the first songs I taught my daughter.

John 3:16,he seemed to believe it, preached it and lived it the best he could. I was moved to hear his daughter share that her Dad was a farmer at heart.
