our ong-time favorite BBQ place is now $27 a lb for beef brisket. Too much for our budget.

If I was looking for "cheap" my first stop would be the 99 Cents store, then Big lots.  

 

Both are now gone, but we still have Dollar Tree.

I just looked it up and the closest one to me which isn't close, is closing. I don't know if any will remain in the area. I did not shop there regularly but would pop in if I was out that way.

I miss Tuesday Morning. I thought Home Goods would lick up the lines TM sold, but they haven't. I would go there sometimes once a week.

Still miss Pier One. Our Party City is closing. Pretty soon there will just be Target and Walmart. Ick.
