Some people go to far and they look like " blowup dolls " .
One guy was on Botched and kept getting more and more filler in his lips to the point the Botched doctors said he was risking loosing blood supply to his lips.

Hubby calls them bladder lips. I don't like the look of puffed up lips or ridiculously thick eyebrows. That's not beauty to me. My lips are fine. I'm only 63 so they haven't thinned as sometimes happens as we age. However the bladder lip trend is what some younger women are into. I don't know why and I don't how they do it. Probably lip injections.

There are some that are well done and look good. But there seems to be far more that look bad to gosh awful! I can't imagine being stuck with that look for who knows how long.
I certainly have no interest in doing it. In fact, my lips have something going on with them that makes them swell slightly. And 3/4ths of the surface has an enhanced red color...the very tip top of my upper lips still have the pale/normal color I used to have. At times they can burn and tingle slightly. Mentioned it to my family doctor and he was of no help. I guess I will be seeing a dermatologist. And the really odd thing was that my lips got EXTREMELY swollen, RED, and painful a few days before I got Covid. So weird. I truly looked like I had gotten lip injections! 😲

@Catastrophe wrote:What are your opinions on the look of the fat lips a lot of women are getting?
I myself and my guy. Think they look ridiculous and so many ruin their looks permanently.
@Catastrophe ...
I'm very lucky that at 75 I still have my full lips! I don't like the look of the fake fat lips so many in Hollywood get!! No thanks!! Who comes to mind is Lisa Rhinna of the Housewives! Awful... just awful !!!

She's an attractive lady, but I would love to see her with false lashes and lip liner/lipstick to make her lips look fuller.

Lisa Rinna lips, no...nice naturally full lips, yes please. Mine are fairly full still at 60, but I do find lip glosses so much better than lipsticks. Maybe a bit of lip liner as well.

I've always wondered what happens to super inflated lips, over an extended period, when someone stops fillers. Once deflated, how do the lips ever return to a normal appearance? Lips are fragile.

I have never liked the full lip look. Since I was a teen, I have always been happy with the shape of my lips.
Mine are not too thin or too full. Age hasn't changed them.
I prefer the natural look. Those duck or puffy lips make women look like cartoon characters.
I have seen quite a few women with artificial larger lips with teeth that need dental work. I can't figure out how their priorities got out of wack.

What a blessing! I feel sorry for people who chase youth as they age. I know some have to, just glad I don't!
I don't think anyone that has surgery or beauty enhancements is chasing youth. Many just want to improve their appearance.
@San Antonio Gal Improving appearance for whom??

@San Antonio Gal Why???? She is lovely. Why would you like her to wear false lashes and lip liner???? Why paint the peac*ck🤔
Just asking because should not we be accepting women as they are? Obviously she is comfortable with her looks.
