What are your opinions on the look of the fat lips a lot of women are getting?
I myself and my guy. Think they look ridiculous and so many ruin their looks permanently.

I wish my lips were not disappearing as they have. I put lipstic k on and it's so hard to see. What happens to our lips that they sink in, disappear on us, I don't know. I wouldn't mind having a little botox puff to give back the lips I once had - nothing huge but enough so I know I have lips again.

I wish my lips were more full. If I wasn't a chicken, I'd get something done.
@rochelleS got her lips done and posted a pic on the beauty forum. Her's were perfectly done. Just the right amount.
I agree that some women go overboard.

I'm glad I don't feel the need to resort to surgery and injections and whatever. I am glad I am happy enough with the way I look, and that my livelihood and self esteem depend on my looks.
What a blessing! I feel sorry for people who chase youth as they age. I know some have to, just glad I don't!

To me, it reveals vanity and perhaps shallowness and perpetuates an unhealthy obsession with youth and a lack of grace for getting older.

@San Antonio Gal @rochelleS did have a very good and natural outcome. She was going to post a pic of her sister's results, but she never did. ...at least I don't think she did. Did I miss it?

About 10 or so years ago I got a little filler in my top lip. My bottom has always been full and I was just trying it out to see how they'd look balanced out. For some strange reason, I ended up looking like my front teeth were bucked out for awhile lol. I never tried any again. Ive seen many that look beautiful and really natural. Some however, go wayyy too overboard.
Edited to add: This HURT like you can't even IMAGINE!!!

I have fuller lips yet and I'm in my early 70's. I must say that most do look silly because it is over done.

@tends2dogs - I haven't seen a picture posted of her sister yet. I look forward to seeing the results! She'll probably post it in the beauty forum though. ![]()

While I think naturally full lips are beautiful, I do wish mine were fuller but I too am too chicken to do anything like that.
I have a cousin who did Botox on areas of her face. After it wore off, she didn't look so good. She wished she would have never done it. Her before Botox face looked better than after it wore off in a few months. That's enough for me!
