This has been done before, but I wanted to give other folks a reminder of a snail-mail scam that seems to be happening again-maybe they are taking advantage of the busy holiday season?

I received a "bill" in the mail in the amount of $83. 98, claiming it is a 'renewal notice' for Soap Opera Digest. It looks just like a bill, and looks official. In fact, they make it look like one of those delinquent 'you better pay now!' bills. Thing is, I've never subscribed to Soap Opera Digest. They are just counting on people throwing the bill on the bill pile and going ahead and paying it. Wonder how many people fall for that, especially the elderly or ill who have memory problems? Grrr!! Warn your loved ones & friends to watch out for these jerks.
